Welcome to straythreads. Heirloom quality quilts. Each quilt is skillfully constructed in a smoke free home and user friendly. I use only quilt shop quality fabrics, batting and thread. There is a difference between quilt shop quality and discount store quality. Longer fibers are used in the warp and weft threads making the fabric stronger and the weave is tighter, there are more threads per square inch of fabric, and the dyes are more permanent both wet and dry. Less fading in the wash and in direct sunlight. There is always a project or two on the design wall in my studio. I hope you enjoy my quilts and visit often.
